l Centro de los Niños (ECDLN) is an established 501(c)3 organization which runs a center-based child care, early childhood education, inclusive special education and collaborative family health services program. We are licensed by the New Mexico Children, Youth & Families Department (CYFD) and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Program Accreditation system. Our program is a partnership between families, staff and ancillary service providers. We collaborate with Las Cumbres Learning Services, the Chama School District, La Clinica and North Central Community Based Services to coordinate and provide services to the widest possible number of families.

ECDLN provides child-centered learning focusing on stimulating creative thinking, development of academic skills, social interactions and physical abilities in a safe, clean, well-equipped learning environment.

Our staff encourage direct involvement of family members. We introduce youngsters to the world of reading and program activities provide opportunities to build language, social skills, fine and gross motor skills, use their imagination and foster their curiosity.

At ECDLN there are many opportunities for children to interact with other children and staff, as well as with family members and volunteers.

El Centro de los Niños mission is to provide affordable, high quality, early childhood education and parenting programs to increase family stability and to help provide a strong educational foundation for children from all socio-economic backgrounds.
